The project is focused on carbon nanotubes and metal nanoparticles: characterization, laser assisted modification, and developing applications. Extensive experience with X-ray diffraction (instrumentation and data analysis); micro Raman spectroscopy; UV-VIS-IR spectroscopy; X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy; ellipsometry; thin film sputtering; Z-scan technique for measuring nonlinear optical properties is desirable.
Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree in Physics or a related field. The positions will be renewed annually for up to five years, contingent on performance and funding.
